Here's an update from today's meeting...

First of all, Congratulations to Jack Brennan who was elected Vice-President of our club today. He replaces Ray Quinto who resigned due to health challenges. We wish Mr. Quinto the best of luck, and Thank him for his years of service. We will not forget his hard work. I look forward to the fun, great times ahead and that great contributions Mr. Brennan will make as our Vice-President.

At our Meeting today, two candidates asked for endorsement, and received our club's endorsement.

Congratulations to Mark Orozco for receiving an endorsement. He is running for California State Assembly in the 42nd Assembly District. We feel confident he will represent our party and it's platform well, and will feel very comfortable with him representing our values in Sacramento. We wish him the best of luck. www.markorozco.com

We are also proud to be the first Democratic Club to endorse Russ Warner for the 40th Assembly District!!!

Yes, that's correct. Today Mr. Warner announced he was pulling out of the 31st Congressional District Race, and entering in the race for his area's State Assembly Seat. This was a tough choice, but in the end, the best choice for the Democratic party. Thank You Russ for serving Democrats first!

Note: I personally have been encouraging Russ to make this change, and long before the announcements made by other candidates this past week. He has been considering this for some time. He is the best fit for this seat, and we needed Russ to run in this very winnable district. We are very grateful to Russ for his years of work, generosity, and sacrifices made to represent the Democratic Party and our platform. We look forward to the day he defeats the extremist representative who now holds that office.

Our club is proud to endorse Mr. Warner for State Assembly.

No further endorsements were made at this time. We will be endorsing other candidates in the future as we are requested.
